#Roommates, how were y’all feeling Meghan Markle’s wedding gown at the #RoyalWedding? Sis definitely went for an elegant and classic look, rocking a timeless custom Givenchy dress with a train and veil for dayzzz.
“The veil is five meters long and made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza,” according to Kensington Palace. “Each flower was worked flat, in three dimensions to create a unique and delicate design. The workers spent hundreds of hours meticulously sewing and washing their hands every thirty minutes to keep the tulle and threads pristine.”
Yup, the dress designers had to wash their hands every 30 minutes to make sure it was perfect for the first black Duchess… okurrr!
The dress was designed by Givenchy’s artistic director Clare Waight Keller, and from the look on Prince Harry’s face, he loved it too!
