Lil Nas X and Lizzo were two of the big winners during the recent Grammy Awards and to celebrate their wins they headed to the strip club—but Lil Nas X looked a little less than enthused at his environment and his explanation is hilarious.
What do you do when you’ve just won your first Grammy award? Well, if you’re Lil Nas X you hit the nearest strip club with Lizzo to celebrate. In a video posted on social media, the two are seen in the club having some post award show fun when the DJ started playing Lil Nas X’s song, “Panini.”
As he and friend Lizzo started to make it rain, many on social media noticed that Lil Nas X didn’t exactly look like he was enjoying himself. In fact, one social media user commented, “Why u look bored tho.”
It was then that he reminded everyone that he can be pretty funny. As a response, he posted a photo of cartoon favorite Spongebob Squarepants flicking his wrist, with the words, “Cuz I’m, u know.”
Of course he was referring to the fact the he is openly gay. Just as his hit single “Old Town Road” was dominating the charts last year, he came out publicly to the world.
