<p>Whew! Don&#8217;t mess with <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/lil-nas-x-reacts-to-not-being-nominated-for-the-2022-bet-awards/">Lil Nas X</a>, &#8217;cause he&#8217;s not the one. Earlier today, he previewed a clip to his song &#8216;Late to da Party&#8217; featuring NBA Youngboy. In the song, he takes direct shots at calls BET. Nas rapped, &#8220;F**k BET, f**k BET,&#8221; and boasted that he doesn&#8217;t need anyone to validate his success. The track also references three of the songs from his GRAMMY-nominated debut album, &#8216;Montero.&#8217; The song was just the tip of the iceberg. He also shared a few tweets about homophobia in the Black community.</p>

Nas also responded to a commenter who wanted to know why a GRAMMY-nominated artist acted this way. Nas responded, &#8220;This is my point exactly. How can I get acknowledged by the most acclaimed award show in the world and then not even just one nomination from my own people? Is that not crazy? Am I really tripping?&#8221;</p>
