<p>Rapper <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/jt-defends-black-rockstar-lil-uzi-vert-after-photo-of-his-pierced-belly-button-trends-says-yes-he-thats-my-man/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lil Uzi Vert</a> is sharing his opinion on <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/dj-drama-fight/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DJ Drama&#8217;s</a> claim that his single, &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhbixyxgsiU" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Just Wanna Rock</a>,&#8221; is the new Philadelphia anthem. The DJ feels that the new single replaces <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/meek-mill-pardoned-2008-drug-firearm-charges/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Meek Mill&#8217;s</a> 2012-released single &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8gfqs1-NuE" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dreams And Nightmares</a>.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Lil Uzi Vert Shuts Down DJ Drama&#8217;s Claim</h3>
<p>The rapper appeared at the 2023 GRAMMYs on Sunday and spoke exclusively with <a href="https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/629484-lil-uzi-vert-responds-to-dj-drama-claiming-just-wanna-rock-replaced-dreams-nightmares-as-philadelphia-anthem" target="_blank" rel="noopener">REVOLT TV</a> about the DJ&#8217;s claims. And admitted that he doesn&#8217;t feel the single has surpassed the weight of Meek Mill&#8217;s &#8220;Dreams And Nightmares.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>I don’t think so. That song like been around for a very long time, and that song is still hitting exactly the same way. I’m just gonna have to see, you know, in a couple of years or a decade or whatever.</p></blockquote>
<p>Lil Uzi went on to explain that he has a very strong relationship with Meek Mill. And hopes that the fellow Philly-bred artist wishes to see him put out a single like the 2012 track.</p>

So I just like feed off the energy that he gives actually to be able to even produce or put out that type of music. So like, hopefully, like s**t, hopefully. He [Meek] would hope that for me too.
