Over the weekend Lil Wayne reportedly missed his scheduled performance at the 2nd Fall Ball due to an issue with security.
According to Fox News, the rapper refused to go through security, which caused him to skip the concert and not perform as advertised.
On Sunday, the managers of the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, SC released a statement saying that workers tried to apply the venue’s “standard safety procedures.”
The arena’s management said they were not willing to make an exception for Weezy and “jeopardize safety.”
Reportedly the show’s promoters indicated that they would be making refunds, but later recanted because Lil Wayne was not the show’s headliner.
The other scheduled acts that hit the stage included, 2 Chainz, Cardi B, and Tory Lanez.
