<p>Roommates, as soon as Super Bowl 2020 ended, the third season premiere of FOX’s hit reality competition singing show, “The Masked Singer” returned—and everyone was shocked to see <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/lil-wayne-recalls-the-time-he-thought-21-savage-was-a-rap-group/">Lil Wayne</a> as the first celebrity to be unmasked.</p>
<p>After recently dropping his new album “Funeral,” Lil Wayne decided to make the most of his latest press run by also stopping by “The Masked Singer” to <a href="https://pitchfork.com/news/lil-wayne-revealed-as-the-robot-on-the-masked-singer-watch/">take part in all the fun</a>. In case you don’t watch, “The Masked Singer” is a singing competition series where the identity of celebrities is hidden based on their performance—they better they sing, the longer their identity is hidden.</p>
<p>Lil Wayne came out dressed as the Robot character and sang the Lenny Kravitz song “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” The judges (Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger and special guest judge Jamie Foxx) initially guessed that the secret celebrity might be Shaun White, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Flavor Flav, or Floyd Mayweather. However, it was none other than Weezy himself.</p>
<p>Once his identity was revealed, Lil Wayne stated that he picked the Robot costume because he thought his kids would like that character the best. The judges, along with host Nick Cannon and the audience, were completely stunned at Lil Wayne’s reveal.</p>

<p>The season one winner of “The Masked Singer” was T-Pain, followed Wayne Brady being crowned the winner of season two. The series airs Wednesday nights on FOX at 8PM.</p>
