#Roommates, Lil Yachty is officially back with some new music and he enlisted two of hip hops most in demand artists to hop on his new track. Yachty just dropped the video for his new single Oprahs Bank Account, featuring both Drake and DaBaby.
Lil Yachty has been keeping a relatively low profile since the release of his 2018 album, Nuthin 2 Provehowever, that is all set to change thanks to the release of his new song that is surely making his fans happy after a two-year wait.
To usher in his return, Lil Yachty dropped Oprahs Bank Account with Drake and DaBaby, including the video featuring Yachty actually playing Oprah himself. In the video, he channels Oprahs sit-down interviews and interviews Drake and DaBaby on each of their verses. Lil Yachty,who has partnered withLG as a part of theirculture awareness campaign, uses the newLG V60 ThinQ with Dual Screenthroughout the video.
Speaking about how the collaboration between the three artists came about, he had this to say:
Its so crazy because I originally wanted to put Lizzo on it. I sent it to her, and I don’t want to say she didn’t like it, because she never got back to me on it, which was cool. I understand people are busy.
He also discussed what fans can look forward to on the new album:
I think this whole album, Lil Boat 3, is just fun. My albums done. My album is coming very soon. I havent spoken on it yet, but its coming. Its ending the trilogy to my Lil Boat series.
As of right now, Lil Yachtys new album doesnt have a set release date, but hopefully it will drop this year.
