<p><strong>Quavo </strong>has spoken on the future of the <strong>Migos</strong>. Following <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/takeoff-update-medical-examiner-lists-cause-of-death-as-gunshot-wounds-to-head-and-torso/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the death</a> of <strong>Takeoff, </strong>nearly three months ago, fans have wondered whether remaining members Quavo and <strong>Offset </strong>will come together to continue their hit-making rap group.</p>

<p>But, according to Quavo&#8217;s new release <em><strong>Greatness</strong>, </em>the Migos&#8217; days are treasured but gone. Quavo raps about the group&#8217;s legacy and game-changing sound in the three-minute track. Less than a minute into the song, he addresses the online talks about the group&#8217;s future.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Came in, swept the game like a storm with the muthafucking flow, n***a Take did that/ So don&#8217;t ask about the group, he gone, we gone, young n***a it can&#8217;t come back, damn!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The song&#8217;s accompanying video, which earned over 290,000 views in 10 hours, shows snapshots of Quavo watching throwback footage featuring Takeoff, playing basketball, smoking, and attending events.</p>
<p>Another thing the new song makes clear is that the uncle is still in mourning over the sudden loss of his nephew. He opens the song with wishes of being able to see Take.</p>

<p>As previously reported, Takeoff was <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/rapper-takeoff-reportedly-shot-and-killed-during-a-dice-game-in-houston/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shot and killed</a> on Nov. 1 after an altercation broke out near a Houston bowling alley. The 28-year-old died from gunshot wounds to his head and torso. Quavo was present during the shooting, and heartbreaking video footage showed him yelling Take&#8217;s name in desperation near the bloodied body.</p>
<p>One month later, police arrested a Houston DJ named <strong>Patrick Clark </strong>on a murder charge. Patrick is scheduled for a court appearance in March but posted a <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/suspect-in-takeoffs-passing-patrick-clark-reportedly-released-from-jail-after-posting-1-million-bond/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">million-dollar bond</a> in early January. His release reportedly included house arrest with GPS monitoring and alcohol, drugs, and firearm bans.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Quavo Highlights Migos&#8217; Success In New Song &#8216;Greatness&#8217;</strong></h3>
<p>Though Quavo seemingly confirmed the end of Migos, the rapper praised their accomplishments throughout the track.</p>
<p>About one minute and twenty seconds in, he raps:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Never forget that the Migos amazin&#8217;/ Look at the ice and the knots in my pants, you that them young n****s made it/ Get your mind right lil&#8217; n***a, you never know you could be fmaous/ I got this sh*t out the mud and caught a lil&#8217; buzz, then QC changed it.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>During the outro, he said:</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;You made the greatest time with your life/ Right now it&#8217;s greatness/ You pick the perfect time in the world, it&#8217;s right now/ that time is greatest/ I don&#8217;t care how long it take, I don&#8217;t care what storm you been through/ it&#8217;s greatness/ This how legends was born, greatness/ I couldn&#8217;t do it without the greatest group in the world/ Hmm, greatness/ I couldn&#8217;t do it without the greatest nephew in the world.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>This is the second song Quavo has released in tribute to Takeoff. Also released on a Wednesday (Jan. 5), <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/listen-quavo-grieves-nephew-takeoff-in-new-song-ion-kno-if-im-the-same-without-you/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the track</a> &#8216;Without You&#8217; highlighted his grief following Take&#8217;s death. Over four minutes, Quavo rapped about crying countless times, their rise to stardom, and seeing his nephew again.</p>

<p>Quavo <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/grammys-2023-quavo-takeoff-tribute/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">performed</a> <em>Without You </em>alongside the Maverick City Music choir at the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony. Following the performance, <em>TMZ </em>reported that the remaining Migos members, Quavo and Offset, got into <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/02/06/quavo-offset-fight-backstage-grammys-takeoff-tribute/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a physical altercation</a> over the tribute moment before Quavo took the stage.</p>
<p>Offset <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/offset-quavo-fight-physical-altercation-grammys-2023-tmz/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">denied the report</a> on Twitter, saying, <strong><em>&#8220;what tf look like fighting my brother y&#8217;all n****s is crazy.&#8221; </em></strong></p>
<p>Then, <em>Entertainment Tonight </em>released a <a href="https://www.etonline.com/watch-cardi-b-get-heated-backstage-at-the-grammys-amid-reported-fight-between-offset-and-quavo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">backstage iPhone video</a> of Offset&#8217;s wife and rapper Cardi B yelling backstage. However, the clip only features audio of her voice, no physical representation of the alleged altercation.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Both of y&#8217;all wrong. This is not right. No, b***h shut the f**k up cuz you shouldn&#8217;t have been talking,&#8221; Cardi said.</p></blockquote>
<p>She later denied that she was <em>&#8220;settling&#8221;</em> anything except for her <em>&#8220;outfit&#8221; </em>in an interview with <em>ET</em>.</p>
<p>In a separate incident earlier this month, Offset <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/offset-j-prince-takeoff-relationship-million-dollaz-worth-of-game/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">called out J. Prince</a> in an online post after J. Prince accused Set of not being there when Takeoff was alive.</p>
