<p>In 2022 and 2023, <strong>Usher</strong> set the bar <em>really </em>high for the Las Vegas residency scene. He shook the innanet with his performances, making it clear that his voice and dance moves still hit.</p>
<p>His music got its flowers from fans and celebrities alike. Kenya Moore <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/kenya-moore-reacts-usher-las-vegas-show-video/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told her fans</a> he &#8220;snatched&#8221; her soul. Keke Palmer went from an Usher serenade to <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/keke-palmer-shades-darius-daulton-jackson-usher-boyfriend-music-video/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">portraying the R&;B superstar</a> in his &#8216;Boyfriend&#8217; music video. By the end of his residency, Usher had floored plenty of his fellow entertainment industry peers. Now, he&#8217;s gearing up to headline the Super Bowl in February.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">New Edition Takes Las Vegas</h3>
<p>New Edition dropped a gem for longtime fans in November: their Las Vegas residency announcement. Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe will be performing six shows between Feb. 28 and Mar. 9. The group is expected to take the stage at the Wynn Las Vegas.</p>
<p>The group shared with <a href="https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/new-edition-las-vegas-residency-2024-1235464421/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Billboard</a> that landing a residence was a &#8220;career-long dream&#8221; for them.</p>
<p><strong><em>&#8220;Fulfilling a career-long dream to solidify ourselves with a residency performance in the entertainment capital of the world, we are beyond excited to embark on this fantastical journey at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas,&#8221; the press release reads. &#8220;On behalf of all of us, including Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph &; Johnny, it is our extreme purpose to give our fans a show that they cannot witness anywhere else in the world.&#8221; </em></strong></p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Jodeci In Sin City</h3>
<p>Speaking of throwback groups, <strong>Jodeci</strong> is also taking their talents to the Las Vegas scene. According to <a href="https://www.revolt.tv/article/2023-12-13/345576/jodeci-becomes-the-next-talent-to-secure-las-vegas-residency/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Revolt</a>, the group named their upcoming series &#8216;The Show, The After Party, The Las Vegas Residency.&#8217; Their live performances will begin on March 15 and run through March 24 before breaking and returning on July 5 until the 13.</p>
<p>Unlike New Edition, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/jodecis-debut-album-forever-my-lady-celebrates-30th-anniversary/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jodeci</a> will take the stage at the House of Blues inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. This reportedly comes eight years after DeVante Swing, Mr. Dalvin, K-Ci, and JoJo released their fourth studio LP, per Revolt.</p>
<p>In May, Mr. Dalvin clarified that the group has <a href="https://www.vibe.com/music/music-news/jodeci-strength-of-a-woman-festival-interview-1234758482/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">never broken up</a>, despite their quiet moments in the music-making business.</p>
