On Tuesday, the rapper took to Instagram to share the update with fans.
Boosie shared a photo of himself holding documents against his head as he leaned forward with his eyes closed.
The rapper also shared a caption along with the photo of himself.
“Stayed up all night praying for these results #CANCERFREE GOD GREAT BUT HE TEST YOUR FAITH ALL THE TIME ‼️”
Additionally, Boosie explained why he referenced his faith being tested.
“I WAS READY TO SEE MY CANCER DOCTOR/SURGEON TODAY BUT I WAS TOLD HE PASSED LAST YEAR 🥲…”

The rapper recalled the memory of his late cancer doctor and shared his gratitude.
“THANK U DR.WOOD FOR ALWAYS MAKING ME LAUGH WHEN I WAS DOWN U WERE THE BEST…”
Additionally, the rapper also recalled an emotional moment he shared with the surgeon.

“IM CANCER FREE. #tearofjoy Thanks to everybody said a prayer for me #GODISGREAT.”
In 2015, the rapper revealed that he was diagnosed with kidney cancer.
“I got an MRI, motherf**ker came back like, ‘We found something on your kidney. You got cancer.’ And that’s when they told me. That was the first time I found out I had it.”
At the time, The Shade Room also reported that the rapper had been previously diagnosed with diabetes.
