She recently posted a video of herself wearing lingerie with a very powerful message attached, one that she hopes can help those who are struggling with their self-image during the quarantine.
Despite her critics and the hate she receives from online trolls, that hasnt stopped Lizzo from embracing her beauty and her body in any way she sees fit. This body positivity is just one of the reasons why her fans love her so much. She likely had them in mind when she posted her latest video to Instagram.
While wearing black lingerie, Lizzo captioned her video with the following message:
Its been a long ass day ???? ???????? focus on a body part u dont like about yourself and show it some love today. This quarantine has a lot of people suffering from mental health issues because we cant get out and do our normal coping/self care routines…. self hatred was starting to creep up on me but I gotta remember
Just last week, fans were coming to Lizzos defense after it initially seemed that Diddy was shading her when he stopped her from twerking during his dance-a-thon while allowing Draya Michele to do the very same thing. Diddy later clarified that his reasoning was due to Lizzos song choice, which was Moneybagg Yos 1,2,3 and all the curse words in the song.
