Last year we let you guys know that Lloyd and his girlfriend Dehea Abraham were expecting their first child together. They welcomed their son River last September, and now the couple is waiting for the arrival of their second child.
Lloyd sat down with Madame Noire and talked about the different ways fatherhood has changed him within the past year.
He said, “Fatherhood has changed me for the best. It has humbled me far beyond anything. It has also energized me and motivated me, not for anything pretentious, just to be the best person I can, the best man I can be.”
Lloyd talked about a few precious moments that he has had with his son already and then revealed that he and Dehea are expecting their second child any day.
“My second child is actually due any day now. I’m also excited because I didn’t know what I would feel before I had my son and then it just came rushing out. So I’m sure the same thing will happen now,” he said.
Lloyd continued, “I thought I would be more comfortable, more confident. You know more relaxed, less anxious now that I’ve been through it, but it’s the same thing. It’s the same nerves and anxiety, but it’s going to be nice.”
