<p>Roomies, the name Madame Tussauds is pretty familiar within pop culture. The global museum is known primarily for their celebrity look-a-likes made from wax. Talk show host <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/wendy-williams-fires-back-at-mike-esterman-speaking-about-the-recent-end-of-their-relationship-we-were-never-boyfriend-and-girlfriend-we-were-never-a-thing/">Wendy Williams</a> is the most recent celebrity to receive a wax figure honoring her.</p>
<p>Wendy&#8217;s figure was revealed to the world on from the Madame Tussauds located in New York City&#8217;s Times Square, according to People. Wendy took to Instagram on Monday to celebrate the wax version of herself. She posted a photo sitting side-by-side with her wax twin in separate purple, plush seats. Wendy&#8217;s son stands behind both his mom and her figure.</p>
<p>&#8220;Another historic day in Wendy History. I’m so excited to be part of @madametussaudsusa and glad that my son was with me on such a special day,&#8221; Wendy captioned the photo.</p>
<p>People reported that the museum <a href="https://people.com/tv/wendy-williams-wax-figure-makes-its-debut-at-madame-tussauds/">pulled off a precise replica</a> with Wendy and her glam team&#8217;s assistance. The wax artists reportedly &#8220;took 200 measurements&#8221; of Wendy, in addition to photographing her from every angle. A representative of Madame Tussauds spoke on Wendy&#8217;s show and gave insider details on how they managed to pull off such an accurate depiction of Wendy.</p>
<p>&#8220;The hair [took] over five weeks of work,&#8221; Matthew Clarkson, the Head of Marketing Operations at Madame Tussauds USA said. Every strand is inserted individually. Human hair, ethically sourced, of course.</p>
<p>In return, Wendy thanked her glam squad for working closely with the museum to accomplish this feat.</p>
<p>&#8220;I think it&#8217;s wonderful. You did a superb job,&#8221; Wendy said. &#8220;You got all the skin complexion, all the hair compilations, the eyebrows that I wear. … I want to thank my glam squad for working so hard with you guys and you guys being so accepting.&#8221;</p>
<p>The wax figure is styled in drip &#8212; down to the same accessories the real-life Wendy wears. Matthew said Wendy&#8217;s closet was &#8220;raided&#8221; to dress the figure, which ultimately gave it that personality touch. Wax Wendy is pictured wearing a Diane von Furstenberg jumpsuit and Gucci sneakers &#8212; both hand-selected by Wendy. In addition, she&#8217;s rocking replicas of Wendy&#8217;s iconic &#8216;W&#8217; necklace and Frank Muller watch set. Even the smallest details weren&#8217;t missed. The watch is set to 10:00 a.m., which is time Wendy&#8217;s show typically airs.</p>
