It looks like Malia Obama is about to have a summer to remember. The 17-year-old recently graduated from high school, and she will be attending Harvard University following her gap year.
According to Teen Vogue, the fab chick has landed herself an internship with the U.S. Embassy in Spain. She already speaks Spanish fluently, and it’s said she served as her dad’s translator during their recent trip to Cuba.
Her internship in Madrid will start within the next couple of weeks.
It’s unclear if President Obama had anything to do with his daughter landing the internship, but multiple news outlets have reported on his close working relationship with U.S. ambassador of Madrid, James Costos.
Nonetheless, Congratulations to Malia on her new internship!
