On the anniversary of the fatal crash that claimed the lives of nine individuals, an artist decided to place a statue at the scene in their honor and an image of #KobeBryant and #GiannaBryant.
Dan Medina told @tmz_tv that he created the 160-pound bronze figure and pulled it up to the scene in Calabasas via a wagon on Wednesday.
Medina says its not a permanent sculpture and will take it down by sunset. But he hopes the city will allow him to place a bigger and permanent piece.
The sculpture also includes the names of all of those whose lost their lives in the tragedy.
