A traffic violation stop turned into a trip to jail for an Oregan man after he falsified a shooting to get out of his ticket!
According to Oregon Live, 42-year-old Salvador Sanchez-Buenrostro was pulled over for a traffic violation. While the cop was writing his citation for a suspended license, Salvador allegedly was busy calling 911 to report a fake shooting. He said the shooting had taken place on Southeast 190th Avenue and Stark Street. He allegedly also gave emergency dispatchers a fake name.
Unfortunately he must have forgotten about today’s technology because the call was eventually traced back to him.
He admitted to making the call to as a way get a “get out of jail” free ticket but that didn’t stop the police from arresting him anyways, the irony !
He was booked into Multnomah County Detention Center on an accusation of improper use of 911 but has since been released.
