Looks like Tracy Morgan isn’t out of the legal war yet! That’s because the man behind the wheel that put Tracy Morgan in a coma and killed his mentor, doesn’t think he’s getting a fair trial and wants his charges dropped!
According to TMZ, Kevin Roper claims that people who are against him in this case (Walmart, Morgan’s lawyer, and the NTSB aka The National Transportation Safety Board) are being biased because of influences coming from the public and is making it extremely hard for him to receive a fair trial.
Now remember this is the same guy that tweeted “more or get hit” right before causing the fatal accident…. But anywho!
Roper, who is to be charged with death by auto and assault by auto believes that he should be innocent until proven guilty but everyone including the media is treating him like its the other way around.
He says Walmart has already accepted responsibility for the incident when they released a press release in June 2014 and we guess he feels as though he shouldn’t be put on trial for it.
Tracy Morgan recently settled with Walmart for an undisclosed (but assumingly large) amount and the driver is currently charged.
