<p>Tristan Thompson and Maralee Nichols have been making headlines after it was revealed that the two had an intimate relationship, and Maralee just gave birth to a baby boy. An Instagram account recently posted alleged messages from Maralee to Tristan about their relationship, but she revealed to <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1313637/maralee-nichols-finally-breaks-her-silence-about-secret-relationship-with-tristan-thompson">E! News</a> that the messages were all lies.</p>
<p>In fact, Maralee spoke out for the first time in a statement to E! and detailed the extent of her relationship with Tristan, starting from the time that they met. Despite all of the drama surrounding their relationship, Maralee said she has no desire for a romantic relationship with Tristan.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Over the last couple of weeks, many inaccurate and false stories have been circulated about me,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I have no at any point released&#8211;nor have I directed anyone to release&#8211;any information regarding Tristan Thompson or any litigation involving him. I have never spoken to any media outlet, nor have I leaked any information to anyone at any time. I am providing this statement because I feel I must defend my character.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Maralee went on to detail the timeline of her and Tristan&#8217;s relationship, adding that she was never a personal trainer for the NBA star but met him at a party in his home in 2020. Tristan previously filed court documents stating that he was only sexually involved with Maralee once in March 2021 in Houston, Texas, while Maralee stated they met up on multiple occasions.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Houston was one of the many nights we spent together,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Soon after his birthday weekend in Houston, Tristan invited me to meet him in Boston.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Shortly after the invite up North, Maralee learned that she was pregnant, which kicked off her legal battle with Tristan. According to Maralee, the two filed paternity action suits against one another before she gave birth on November 29, 2021.</p>
<p>Despite all of the drama, Maralee Nichols said that she does not want a romantic relationship with Tristan and wants to focus on raising their son in a positive environment.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Instead of focusing on any negativity, I am choosing to embrace being a mother and doing the best I can for my son. I do not want any further media attention, nor do I want a romantic relationship with Tristan. My goal is to raise our son in a safe, healthy, loving, and private environment.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Tristan has yet to speak publicly on the matter.</p>
