<p>Everyone knows that this is Mariah Carey’s favorite time of year as she has been crowned the Mother of Christmas, and you can always expect her to do something special to celebrate the holiday.</p>
<p>On Wednesday, she announced her new Christmas Special which is set to premiere on December 4<sup>th</sup>. The event will be star-studded, with appearances from Tiffany Haddish, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Billy Eichner, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland, and Mykal-Michelle Harris.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://deadline.com/2020/11/mariah-carey-apple-christmas-special-premiere-date-guest-lineup-ariana-grande-jennifer-hudson-1234617614/">Deadline</a></em>, Mariah, Ariana and Jennifer will perform the classic holiday hit “Oh Santa!” Their performance will also include a music video and official single that will be distributed through Sony Music and released on Apple Music and other streaming platforms.</p>
<p>Ariana Grande shared her excitement about the special and said, &#8220;No I’m not okay nor will I ever recover&#8230;love you forever Mariah Carey.&#8221;</p>

<p>There will also be the “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special” soundtrack that will also be released.</p>
<p>As many of you know, Mariah&#8217;s classic &#8220;All I Want For Christmas Is You,&#8221; is popular during the holiday season. Last year, she broke three <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/mariah-carey-breaks-3-new-guinness-world-records-thanks-to-her-holiday-hit-all-i-want-for-christmas-is-you/">Guinness World Records</a></em> thanks to the single. The three records were the highest-charting holiday song on the Hot 100 by a solo artist, most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours — with over 10.8 million streams— and most weeks in the UK singles Top 10 chart for a Christmas song.</p>
