Roommates, many artists pride themselves on being the best or in this case the kingand R&B singer Mario has come through with a new declaration about his talent and he wants you all to know. During a recent interview, Mario stated that nobody in R&B is touching him when it comes to pure skills.
During a recent interview with Chicagos WGCI radio station, Mario gave his thoughts on the long-running debate on the King of R&Band lets just say that his comments yielded very mixed results from fans.
Mario responded with this:
Its just ridiculous. Its gonna be kind of hard for me to say anything, cause people gon be like, You aint puttin music out! But its like, if were talking about just straight, pure skill. Were not talking about relevance, were not talking about who puts out a hundred songs a year. Were talking about if you give me a mic, you get a mic- theres nobody f*ckin with me. I promise you. I put that on my grave.
He continued, adding:
Go listen to my albumswhen you hear this new music, I think its gonna show you theres nothing that I cant do as a writer, as a performer. Im a quadruple threat. I sing and act at the same d*mn time. I dance. I aint gon say Im the best dancer in the game, but I got my own swagI know who I am as an artist.
As expected, social media definitely had thoughts regarding Marios claims, but he still stands firmly on what he said.
