<p>On Tuesday, NLE Choppa took to Twitter to share a video defending fellow rapper Sexyy Red against critics. In the video, he explained that he is a &#8220;real supporter&#8221; of the rapper and feels that the public needs to be less harsh with their criticism of her and her music.</p>

<p>The rapper went on to explain that Sexyy Redd is a mother is doing what she needs to do to take care of her child. Then explained that he is &#8220;sticking up for her&#8221; because he&#8217;s &#8220;not seeing nobody else&#8221; defend her against the criticism.</p>

<p>The rapper&#8217;s defense of Sexyy Red was met with criticism from Twitter users. Many of whom voiced their opinion about NLE Choppa being absent at Marissa Da&#8217;Nae&#8217;s recent baby shower and addressed him not defending her against social media backlash earlier this year.</p>

<p>Additionally, she explained that she &#8220;never should have&#8221; vented her frustrations about their relationship and pregnancy on social media earlier this year.</p>
