<p>Howell Wayans—the patriarch of Hollywood&#8217;s uber-famous Wayans family—has passed on, and <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/marlon-wayans-tells-tiffany-haddish-she-was-never-cast-in-any-of-his-movies-because-she-was-always-on-10-needed-to-mature/?_gl=1*lndw67*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTEyNDE5NjMzMi4xNjgwNTMwNzA5*_ga_V2HX8YP3XL*MTY4MDUzMDcwOC4xLjEuMTY4MDUzMDcxNC4wLjAuMA.." target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marlon Wayans</a> took a moment to pay tribute to him online.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Marlon Wayans Reflects On His Father&#8217;s Impact: &#8216;Baby Boy Loves You&#8217;</h3>
<p>Over the weekend, the <em>White Chicks </em>actor shared the news through an <a href="https://www.instagram.com/marlonwayans/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a> post. Beneath a photo of the father-son duo, Marlon started by calling his dad a &#8220;legend.&#8221;</p>
<p>Marlon went on to share a conversation he had with Howell regarding what the Wayans patriarch wanted to be when he was younger, as his father simply responded, &#8220;I wanted to be a man.&#8221;</p>
<p>After Howell explained his rationale by noting that &#8220;a man takes care of himself and his responsibilities,&#8221; Marlon said, &#8220;From that day on I wanted to be a MAN.&#8221;</p>
<p>He went on to thank Howell for &#8220;being an example&#8221; before proclaiming, &#8220;I pray all young Black boys can grow up to be a Man like you.&#8221; Additionally, he wrote, &#8220;Baby boy loves you.&#8221;</p>

<p>Marlon also asked his father to pass along a message for his late mother, who <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CC-jMrMHzQi/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener">passed away</a> in mid-2020. Lovingly, he noted that he now has &#8220;two angels&#8221; and declared, &#8220;I feel y&#8217;all lifting me already.&#8221;</p>
