Bad Boys and Bad Boys II starring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith became instant classics following their releases. With the last film dropping 14 years ago fans have been anticipating the third film.
At one point it seemed like the film was a go, but now Martin Lawrence is speaking out about the fate of the film.
According to Entertainment Weekly, over the past few months, the film has lost its director and release date. Now Martin Lawrence is unsure if the film will happen at this time.
Lawrence said, I dont think were going to get one, not the way everythings turning out. Will is off doing another movie, and I dont think its going to happen.
He also added, Im there, Im ready right now. If they wanted to do it, Im ready, but I dont have control of that. Thats the studios decision.
According to the site, last year Will Smithteased the film and said they were very, very, very close, and talked about his time working with Lawrence and said, I love that dude. Thats among the best times Ive ever had making movies. So Im looking forward to it.
