Roommates, as we approach Valentine’s Day, it’s looking like it might not be too festive for ‘Love & Hip Hop’ veteran Masika Kalysha and her soon to be (or at least we thought so) husband, Jamar Champ. Just last week, we exclusively took you guys inside their lavish engagement party where the pair showed off their love and the massive ring on Masika’s finger. Judging from the video, both Jamar and Masika look head over heels for one another. Masika even took some time during her toast to explain how deep her love for Jamar Champ goes. Crediting his relationship with her 4-year-old daughter, Khari Barbie, as a huge reason as to why she loves Jamar. Naturally after seeing them in their element, it’s safe to say we were all caught off guard when we saw that they unfollowed one another and left some subliminals on their Instagram stories to boot. Masika opted for quotes suggesting pride could have been a factor.
Masika uploaded an Instagram story saying: “Pride and love don’t mix, you either drop your pride for the person you love or lose them over your pride.” Jamar took a more direct approach, taking to his story to write out a message that ‘someone’ wasn’t bringing anything to the table. Jamar went on to say: “If you have nothing to bring to my table, please don’t take from it. If I spend over $100K on you and you can’t contribute a third of that please shut up. We have no relationship. Sorry but momma didn’t raise no fool” See the complete exchange below:
