Remember a couple of days ago news broke that Matt Barnes and DeMarcus Cousins got into an altercation with some people at a NYC Club. Matt allegedly choked a woman and DeMarcus allegedly punched a guy in the face. It looks like Matt & DeMarcus better lawyer up because they’ve just been hit with a lawsuit over the brawl.
According to TMZ, Jasmine Besiso and Myrone Powell claim that they were minding their business when Matt allegedly came up to Jasmine and started choking her.
In the legal docs, Myrone says he tried to stop it but allegedly took a punch to the face from DeMarcus.
Matt ended up letting Jasmine’s neck go and in the process allegedly elbowed her in the face and ended up knocking her out.
The victims rep said that both Jasmine and Myrone were taken to the hospital and were treated for their injuries.
Now Matt’s rep claims he’s the victim in all of this. Apparently Matt was attacked after he accidentally bumped someone in the VIP section.
