<p>It looks like Naomi Osaka and Mattel have connected once again. This time they are releasing the Naomi Osaka role model barbie doll right before the Tokyo Olympics kickoff.</p>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Style/naomi-osaka-barbie-role-model-doll-unveiled-mattel/story?id=78795922">ABC News</a></em>, the company officially unveiled the new doll on Monday, and Naomi shared her excitement for the doll. She said, &#8220;It&#8217;s such an honor to be a part of the Barbie Role Model series and to remind young girls that they can make a difference in the world. I want young girls everywhere to feel empowered to dream big and to know that if they believe in themselves that anything is possible!&#8221;</p>
<p>The doll&#8217;s outfit resembles the outfit that Naomi wore at the 2020 Australian Open.</p>
<p>Naomi also spoke about the doll&#8217;s release on her Instagram and added, &#8220;I really hope every child is reminded they can be and do anything. This is really seeing a dream of mine come to life, having your own barbie and potentially seeing little kids play with it.&#8221;</p>

<p>As many of you know, last month Naomi received <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/serena-williams-shows-her-support-for-naomi-osaka-after-she-withdraws-from-the-french-open/">support</a></em> from many fans and peers as she prioritized her mental health and made the decision to withdraw from the French Open, Berlin Tournament, and Wimbledon, as she declined to participate in press conferences during the tournaments.</p>
