Ever thought about smashing someone else on bae’s bed? Well you might want to think again because pretty soon your bed may be the one to snitch on you! Yeah thats right, the game is about to change because pretty soon!
Spanish company, Durmet, just created what they’re calling a “Smarttress” which will notify you whenever your mattress is in use. Meaning if you’re at work and an unwanted guest (i.e. side chick/dude, mistress, baby mama/daddy, the friendly neighbor) is in your bed, you’ll get a notification! The app, which is downloadable on your phone once you get the mattress, keeps track of duration of use, intensity as well as impact per minute. It will also send you alerts straight to your phone!
The company is not beating around the bush with its newest product either. The commercial advertising is clearly for people who might be worried about getting cheated on, referring to the mattress as one that can “detect deception.”
The company’s spokesperson stood up for the company against internet haters who say the mattress is a dumb idea. He says the company has been making sleep related items for years and even though the mattress is still in its manufacturing phase, the company is expecting to get a lot of orders.
