#Roommates, #McDonalds has been trying to create a more health conscious menu and by doing so they’re look to revamp some of their popular choices! According to @KTLA, the fast food giant will no longer be including cheeseburgers as options for their happy meals.
The decision will take effect as early as June of this year and they’re looking to completely discontinue cheeseburgers in happy meals at all locations by 2022. #MCDonalds’ goal is to have all happy meals be under 600 calories and the discontinuation will help cut the average Happy Meal calorie count by 20%.
Along with the cheeseburger change, McDonalds is also experimenting with substituting even more of their fried menu items with grilled options.
