<p>Roommates, earlier this week rumors were running rampant that <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/megan-thee-stallion-addresses-tory-lanez-shooting-in-new-freestyle/">Megan Thee Stallion</a> was allegedly physically abusive in a past relationship—and the allegations came from her ex-boyfriend. Once the rumors continued to spread, Megan hopped on Instagram live to shut everything down and tell her side of things.</p>
<p>Megan Thee Stallion’s ex-boyfriend, Karim York, alleged that she was <a href="https://www.complex.com/music/2020/09/megan-thee-stallion-sets-the-record-straight-abuse-accusations">physically abusive</a> when they were together. In the statement from York, while refusing to actually namedrop Megan, he alleges that a woman he was seeing at the time beat him and held him at gunpoint.</p>
<p>He also claims that the woman was on drugs at the time of the incident. Although he didn&#8217;t point to Megan during the story, the statement ended with “P.S. Megan and I are still great friends.” This led readers to believe that the incident involved Megan Thee Stallion.</p>
<p>Following his claims, Megan Thee Stallion took to her Instagram live and made a video addressing the allegations:</p>
<p><em>“I feel like I have to have a press conference every god d**n week. I just saw some bulls**t talking about&#8230;and I know who it is. They antagonize me every day online. They pick with me every god d**n day. They always making up stories about me and now I feel like I have to really start doing something about it.”</em></p>
<p>Megan actually called York during the live video and he can be heard telling her that he would “clean it up.” He also said, “I am not talking about you.”</p>
<p>She added more about the alleged incident, saying “He is not talking about me. He is in another argument with some other b**ch. Stop lying on me. That n***a not talking about me. Stop putting n***as on me. Stop making stories up. F**k y&#8217;all because I&#8217;m going to hit you with the facts every time you tell a lie.”</p>
