<p><strong>Megan Thee Stallion</strong> is speaking on how, after steppin&#8217; back and taking a <em>serious</em> social media break, she&#8217;s found her way back to being &#8220;in love with&#8221; herself.</p>

<p>The &#8220;NDA&#8221; rapper shared her commentary during a sit-down with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/media/videos/megan-thee-stallion-on-importance-of-education-collabs-and-new-musical-era-exclusive" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Entertainment Tonight</a>, noting that her phone is entirely devoid of social media apps!</p>

<p>As a result, Megan initially had no idea about the speculation surrounding her run-in with Justin Timberlake at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards—which was innocuous and led to a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CxImQgAOwL2/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link" target="_blank" rel="noopener">later link-up</a> but <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/justin-timberlake-megan-thee-stallion-appear-feud-vmas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">initially reported as an altercation</a>.</p>

<p>On top of willingly being out of the social loop, Megan Thee Stallion noted that she&#8217;s making music free from other artists&#8217; influences.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t have any inspiration from anybody out right now. &#8230; I have no clue what anybody&#8217;s doing. So the music that I&#8217;ve been making, it feels good to <em>me</em>.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>As far as when the Hotties can expect new music, Megan kept her answer cryptic.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Just be expecting it. Everybody knows Spooky Season is my favorite season, so just be on point.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Continuing, Megan acknowledged that she grew more &#8220;comfortable&#8221; by stepping back and doing her own thang.</p>

<p>Megan addressed finding a &#8220;balance&#8221; between embracing &#8220;hustle culture&#8221; and practicing self-care.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Sometimes society places too much emphasis on hustle culture and not enough focus on physical and mental health. It&#8217;s a balance.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
