Yes boo you heard that correctly. I know you all remember that HUGE million dollar (around 65 million to be exact) defamation lawsuit that Memphitz filed against his ex K. Michelle, Viacom, and Monami production company (Mona Scott-Young)?
Yes honey, this case has been going on for years and Memphitz (Toya Wright’s estranged husband) first filed the suit in 2012 after K.Michelle made a statement on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta about being abused by one of her exes who also happened to be her manager and a record executive at the time the incident occurred.
Memphitz wasn’t feelin’ the free press (even though his name wasn’t mentioned) and denied that he had ever laid hands on K. Michelle. As a result, K was bullied in the media and made to look like a liar who had conflicting stories.
You remember how all of the ladies ganged up on K. Michelle on the show right? We do.
Well, we were all waiting for the results of this case and yes…bih you guessed it. Memphitz lost!

Not only did he lose but he had to admit to some key things. For instance, K. Michelle accused Memphitz of sending her text messages threatening to kill her son. Memphitz denied these texts at first but later admitted to them in his deposition.
Most importantly, he admitted to smothering K. Michelle’s mouth with a pillow/hand to keep the noise down during their hotel fight which makes sense that K would think he was trying to kill her at the time.
He also admitted to misusing her funds and spending it on frivolous ish for himself.
As you can see, this is why K, Viacom, and Monami production company won the lawsuit.
Since we are here, let’s drop some more TEA. The streets are saying that one of the reasons that Toya Wright and Memphitz were having issues in their marriage is because of financial difficulty. Memphitz admitted in an interview with S2S Mag that he lost his job and was having issues bring money to the table. The streets are saying he was riding on the hope that he would win this big lawsuit and turn his life around.
Their marriage really fell apart once he lost the lawsuit!
There are tons of people who owe K. Michelle an apology right about now!
