Mendeecees Harris had time today to clear the air after he & his wife Yandy Smith-Harris received backlash over the most recent episode of ‘Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta.’ In the clip, he wanted to set Infinity up with her own place and offered to pay the rent for a few months. Infinity, a foster child, was very emotional and felt like the couple was abandoning her.
In a nearly ten-minute video, Mendeecees spoke about him formally behind bars and how it affected his children. He claims there were issues in the past with Infinity that he has let go of. While speaking on his character and the situation, he says that he isn’t mean and has compassion but suggests the negative comments online aren’t helping Infinity or his wife.
Mendeecees claims that the words online are tearing the couple and Infinity down and receiving threats. The Roommates seemed to side with him and felt like people took his words out of context. One commented, “When is infinity suppose to grow up and get out there and get it on her own? Or Yandy suppose to keep taking care of her? The internet confused me.” Another Roommate commented, “Yandy and Mendeecees didn’t do anything wrong.”
Yandy has not broken her silence on the video like her husband, with whom she shares two children. Instead, she has been focusing on promoting her skincare business, “Yelle.” She recently shared her latest skincare line that focuses on products for men. The “Brave Collection” was included moisturizers for skin and beards.
