<p>Twenty-six years after unveiling &#8220;The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),&#8221; <strong>Missy Elliott </strong>is sharing a couple of &#8220;fun fact[s]&#8221; about the iconic puffed-up outfit that she rocked in the song&#8217;s music video.</p>

<p>On Thursday (Aug. 10), <a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/best-rap-music-videos-1234788922/young-thug-wyclef-jean-3-1234791531/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rolling Stone</a> hailed the 1997 bop as the <em>greatest</em> hip-hop video of all time. Notably, this honor came just in time for the genre&#8217;s <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/50-years-of-fiyah-a-look-back-on-hip-hop-in-the-80s/?_gl=1*jm097b*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTU1MjAxMTE5Ny4xNjkxNzY5NTQ2*_ga_V2HX8YP3XL*MTY5MTc2OTU0NS4xLjEuMTY5MTc3MDgwMS4wLjAuMA.." target="_blank" rel="noopener">50th birthday</a> on Aug. 11, 2023.</p>
<p>In light of the honor, Missy quote tweeted a post about it and added a lil&#8217; story that involved her walking through Brooklyn while donning the getup.</p>
<p>Specifically, Missy Elliott noted that she had to walk to a gas station &#8220;to get air in this blow-up suit.&#8221; However, the outfit &#8220;blew up so big&#8221; that she couldn&#8217;t get into the vehicle, so she had to stir up a solution.</p>

<p>She humorously added that bystanders must have thought she was under the influence at the time.</p>

<p>Missy&#8217;s story didn&#8217;t end there, as she added that all her walking resulted in the suit deflating a bit.</p>
