<p>There is no doubt that Monica is an OG in the game, and over the years there have been monumental moments throughout her career. Last year, during her battle against Brandy, many memorable moments were revisited, including some of the fashion choices she made earlier on in her career.</p>
<p>One of the most prominent fashion choices she was reminded of was the white open-toe sandals she wore in the music video for her classic single &#8220;Before You Walk Out Of My Life.&#8221;</p>
<p>In her latest TikTok video, Monica decided to join in on the fun surrounding the sandals as she announced that her next album is on the way.</p>
<p>In the video, Monica is dressed in all Fendi as she walks into the camera frame and says, &#8220;Ya&#8217;ll keep asking me about this &#8220;muthaf*ckin album. Ya&#8217;ll think I&#8217;m playing&#8230;I ain&#8217;t, I ain&#8217;t. Here, this is what you want? Come and get it.&#8221;</p>
<p>She proceeded to put on a pair of white open-toed sandals that were meant to resemble the shoes she wore in her music video back in 1995.</p>
<p>She <em><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/COJt9zChB0C/">said</a></em> in her caption, &#8220;#Trenches Coming ð Don’t Ask Me where I’m going, the answer is THE STUDIOð&#8221;</p>

<p>In other words, the sandals were a sign that she is working on yet another classic album.</p>
<p>&#8220;Before You Walk Out My Life,&#8221; was one of the lead singles from her debut album &#8220;Miss Thang,&#8221; which dropped back in 1995. Her next studio album &#8220;Trenches,&#8221; has not been given a release date as of yet, but the project will serve as her 9th studio album.</p>
<p>She dropped the title track featuring Lil Baby last year following her <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/brandy-monica-pull-out-the-classics-for-their-record-breaking-verzuz-battle/">Verzuz</a></em> battle against Brandy.</p>
