#Kelis and her ex-husband #Nas have been in a months-long court battle all over Kelis wanting an increase in child support for their 8-year old son.
She reportedly felt that Nas is well-off now and can afford to pay more. On the other hand, Nas wanted to see his son more and accused Kelis of preventing him from doing so.
The back and forth between these two got so bad that their lawyers even had bad blood! Kelis’ lawyer even claimed to have been fat-shamed by Nas’ lawyer, but things are cooling down now.
Nas and Kelis have agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their 8-year old son Knight. They even have a specific schedule for holidays. To start, Nas will get Knight on Father’s Day and Kelis gets him on Mother’s Day.
Also, for Knight’s birthdays, Nas gets the even years and Kelis gets the odd years, so everyone should be happy!
