The shooting led to a premature delivery, and police have made no arrests as of Monday, according to local reports.</p>
<p>Boyd reportedly worked as the team lead on April 12 when the horrific incident unfolded. He shot <strong>Travonsha Ferguson</strong>, 34, while attempting to stop her from what he says was a theft in progress.</p>

He claims he fired the gun in self-defense.</p>
<p>Boyd shot Travonsha, who was reportedly seven months pregnant, eight times&#8211;twice in each leg and four times in the stomach. She told investigators that she and her friend eventually made it to the car after the gun went off, and the friend dropped off Ferguson at the emergency room by herself.</section>
