<p>Congrats are in order to actress/ singer Naturi Naughton who started off her 2021 by announcing that she is now an engaged woman.</p>
<p>She took to social media to show off her engagement ring and <em><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CJgUFK_DS3o/">said</a></em>, &#8220;Yup! I get to marry my best friend!&#8221;</p>

<p>The engagement took place two days before Christmas, and she talked with <em><a href="https://www.essence.com/articles/power-star-naturi-naughton-engaged/">Essence Magazine</a></em> about the special moment and said, &#8220;I’m still floating from my engagement.&#8221; However, Naturi is not ready to reveal the identity of her soon-to-be-husband.</p>
<p>Nonetheless, she did share how the engagement went down, and said, &#8220;This amazing man of mine planned this whole photoshoot, complete with my glam team and stylist might I add, for me and my daughter with matching princess dresses. All I had to do was show up.&#8221;</p>
<p>She continued, &#8220;We are all just taking pictures as normal, then the music changes to a song called ‘Looking For Love’ by Mul-Ty. Out of nowhere I see Mickey, Minnie, and the whole Disney crew walk in, and then I see my parents and one of my best friends walk in behind them—all wearing their masks. I was in shock! When I turned around, my now fiancé was down on one knee!&#8221;</p>
<p>As <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/rotimi-vanessa-mdee-are-now-engaged/">previously</a></em> reported, Naturi&#8217;s former &#8220;Power&#8221; co-star Rotimi is also engaged. He popped the big question to his girlfriend Vanessa Mdee after dating for over a year.</p>
