<p>Though<strong> NBA YoungBoy </strong>remains <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/nba-youngboy-released-from-jail-following-his-recent-arrest-in-baton-rouge-update/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">on house arrest</a>, a judge has reportedly decided to pull back on two of his restrictions.</p>
<p>AllHipHop was the first to share the update following Wednesday&#8217;s (March 15) ruling. According to court docs, <strong>Judge Shelly Dick</strong> <a href="https://allhiphop.com/news/exclusive-nba-youngboy-victorious-as-judge-lifts-draconian-house-arrest-rules/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">adjusted conditions</a> 18 and 19 within the rapper&#8217;s supervised release.</p>
<p>As for condition 18, YoungBoy, real name<strong> Kentrell Gaulden</strong>, can now welcome more than three visitors at once in his home on the outskirts of Salt Lake City.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the adjustment of condition 19 allows those visitors to be in the rapper&#8217;s home at any time. Previously, YoungBoy was restricted to welcoming guests between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. only.</p>

<p>Judge Dick signed the <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/exclusive-details-judge-rules-forensic-experts-may-testify-on-hurricane-chris-behalf-to-support-self-defense-claim/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">latest ruling</a> in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The adjustments come more than a year after the same judge first imposed the restrictions in October 2021. At the time, he was granted permission to live in Utah while serving his sentence. YB sat in a Louisiana jail cell for most of the year before then.</p>
<p>LAPD and the FBI arrested him in March 2021 after he fled from officers during an attempted traffic stop for a federal warrant. After a short car chase, YB stopped the vehicle, choosing to escape on foot. The pursuit, both vehicular and on-foot, lasted from about 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. local time. He <a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/youngboy-never-broke-again-house-arrest-1244698/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">was charged</a> with being a felon in possession of two unregistered guns, a Masterpiece Arms 9 mm and .45 caliber Glock Model 21 pistol, per<em> Rolling Stone</em>.</p>
<p>The warrant was connected to a September 2020 incident in Baton Rouge. Police were called to an abandoned property, said to be the home of YB&#8217;s grandfather, where YoungBoy was shooting a music video. Police had received a report about people brandishing firearms on the property.</p>
<p>According to <em>Complex, </em><a href="https://www.complex.com/music/nba-youngboy-federal-investigation-explained" target="_blank" rel="noopener">officers found</a> marijuana and hydrocodone while searching three of seven cars on the scene. After getting the sign-off from a judge, they searched the remaining four vehicles&#8211;discovering more weed, digital scales, Xanax, and several guns and rifles. Police also found seven additional guns in a nearby grassy area. Additionally, several individuals had large amounts of cash on them, including YB, who was reportedly carrying $47,000. Officials arrested YoungBoy and seventeen other individuals on drug and gun possession charges on September 28, 2020.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;"><strong>NBA YoungBoy Says House Arrest Is &#8216;The Best Thing&#8217; </strong></h3>
<p>Though the judge loosened his restrictions this week, the Motown rapper is expected to follow other terms in his release. Those include having no possession of a firearm and submitting to tests for <em>&#8220;prohibited substances,&#8221; </em>per AllHipHop.</p>
<p>A February Billboard cover story on the artist revealed that YB had left his Utah home zero times since moving there. He&#8217;s restricted by the ankle monitor, which he should still be wearing. Still, the rapper <a href="https://www.billboard.com/music/features/youngboy-never-broke-again-cover-story-interview-1235208827/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told the outlet</a> being on house arrest was <em>&#8220;the best thing that ever happened&#8221;</em> to him.</p>

I will not be provoked, I will not be broken and I&#8217;m not going back to who I use to be. Accept it or not, I ain&#8217;t going back. Only get more groovy from here. <p>While on lockdown, the rapper quietly<a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/congrats-nba-youngboy-and-jazlyn-mychelle-got-married-license-shows/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> married his girlfriend</a>, <strong>Jazlyn Mychelle</strong>, in early January. The rapper also released his first album, <em>I Rest My Case,</em> with Motown Records in January.</p>
