<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">NBA YoungBoy doesn’t appear to be letting a little lock up keep him down.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Following news that a U.S. District Court judge out of Louisiana revoked his bond, the rapper is still all smiles in a new selfie he took with a couple of other inmates behind bars.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The photo began circulating Wednesday on social media. YoungBoy is seen sporting a big smile in his orange attire surrounded by four other men, who seem to be in good spirits as well.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A few other photos of YoungBoy talking on a phone from jail also surfaced on the internet. It’s unclear if these photos were taken during a visit.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s good that YoungBoy is smiling because it’s unclear if he’ll be released anytime soon. He got locked up last month on a federal warrant after being arrested in Los Angeles following a foot pursuit.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just last week, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/judge-reportedly-revokes-nba-youngboys-540000-bond-due-to-past-history-of-probation-violations-he-will-remain-in-jail-until-his-trial/">U.S. District Judge Shelly D Dick revoked his $540,000 bond</a> and ordered that he remain in jail until his trial date, which has yet to be set.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Judge Dick’s ruling was reportedly based on YoungBoy’s history of violating probation, along with his “characteristics.” </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Additionally, the Louisiana State Attorney noted that another reason he should remain in jail is because of his considerable wealth, stating that YoungBoy’s ability to quickly post bail and return back to the streets is of great concern. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The State Attorney also said, “despite the recommendation of the United States Probation and Pre-Trial Services Department that the defendant presents a risk of danger.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The official court documents of the ruling go into elaborate detail regarding why NBA YoungBoy’s (born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden) bond was revoked following his latest arrest:</span></p>
<p><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Two factors—Gaulden’s history and characteristics and the nature and seriousness of the danger posed by Gaulden’s release—are closely related. U.S. Probation and Pre-Trial Services provided the Court with sealed, relevant information germane to Gaulden’s characteristics and history, which reflect a pattern of violent behavior stretching back several years. The Court also notes that based on their investigation into Gaulden’s history and background, U.S. Probation and Pre-Trial Services recommended detention. The exhibits offered by the Government, particularly the testimony from Gaulden’s June 2019 state probation revocation proceeding and the U.S. Probation and Pre-Trial Services report, convincingly satisfy the Court that there is a serious risk of danger to the public if Gaulden is released.”</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we previously reported, NBA YoungBoy is currently charged with federal possession of a firearm as a felon, and possession of a firearm not registered to him.</span></p>
