<p><strong><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/video-nba-youngboy-kodak-black-squash-beef-over-facetime-bringing-an-end-to-years-long-rivalry/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBA YoungBoy</a></strong> is living the life of a recluse in Utah with his new wife and children while he&#8217;s learning to be a Mormon.</p>
<p>The married Baton Rouge hitmaker recently spoke candidly with <a href="https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/youngboy-never-broke-again-baptism-mormon-1235209510/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Billboard</em></a> from the comfort of his home. He&#8217;s currently on 14 months of house arrest stemming from a 2022 <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/nba-youngboy-gets-trial-date-in-federal-firearms-case-after-judge-suppresses-video-evidence/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">weapons charge.</a> YoungBoy <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/congrats-nba-youngboy-and-jazlyn-mychelle-got-married-license-shows/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">married Jazlyn Mychelle</a> in January. The pair have a 17-month-old daughter, Alice, and a newborn son, Klemenza. The couple reportedly lives at the Utah residence with their mothers.</p>
<p>In the conversation, the father of twelve revealed he&#8217;s focusing more on life outside of music and business.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">NBA YoungBoy Welcomes Mormon Missionaries Into His Home, Plans To Be Baptized</h3>
<p>In the <em>Billboard</em> sit down, YoungBoy shared how welcoming Mormon missionaries into his Utah residence has led to him wanting to be baptized after his house arrest expires.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I wanted help very badly. I needed a friend. And it hit me,” he recalls.</p>
<p>“It was just cool to see someone with a different mindset that had nothing to do with business or money — just these wonderful souls,” he tells Billboard.</p></blockquote>
<p>The missionaries reportedly discuss The Book of Mormon with YoungBoy regularly. The rapper&#8217;s recent “Hi Haters” video opens with a quote from the Latter Day Saints tome, evidence of the church&#8217;s impression on him.</p>
<p>According to YoungBoy, the Mormon&#8217;s help him “make sure my heart is in the right space”; Billboard reports that he’s planning on being officially baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ the Latter-day Saints after his ankle monitor is removed.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">NBA YoungBoy Explains Being &#8216;Terrified&#8217; Of People</h3>
<p>The rapper touched on what sounds like having anxiety around people when he&#8217;s out in public. He told the outlet he&#8217;s actually &#8220;terrified&#8221; of people and admits he&#8217;s very shy despite his music being streamed billions on times.</p>
