<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ne-Yo and Crystal Smith have been on a path of love and romance ever since the couple decided to hit the brakes on their divorce.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After four years of marriage, Ne-Yo has decided he wants to do it all over again.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just after the clock struck midnight, Ne-Yo capped his new year’s celebration by popping the big question to Crystal and giving her a nice-sized rock to accompany the gesture.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He captured his second proposal to Crystal Smith in an 8-minute video. They appeared to be surrounded by loved ones when he asked for her hand in marriage.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I love you. I have decided, we have decided that this is our forever, yes?” he’s heard asking Crystal in the video. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He continued, “Ok, so, with that being said, I need you to know there’s nowhere else on the face of the planet that I would rather be. There’s no one else on the face of the planet that I’d rather be with. So with that being said, Crystal Renee Smith, will you marry me again?” he said as he got down on one knee.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He followed the gesture by showing off her big rock to the camera as she leaned in to embrace him.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s quite the turnaround from where the couple was just months ago. Back in February of 2020, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/ne-yo-confirms-he-and-crystal-smith-are-getting-a-divorce/">Ne-Yo confirmed that he and Crystal were divorcing</a> but things started to move toward reunification when the couple admitted they were <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/ne-yo-estranged-wife-crystal-smith-spend-time-together-during-quarantine-season-amid-divorce/">quarantined together</a> during the pandemic.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">That time inside together must have helped rekindle the flame because next thing you know, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/ne-yo-reportedly-withdraws-divorce-request-from-crystal-smith/">Ne-Yo withdrew the divorce papers.</a></span></p>
