<p>Do y’all remember when #DonaldTrump escalated the #NFL kneeling protests last Fall? He demanded that the NFL change its policies, because he felt that it was disrespectful for players to kneel while the national anthem was recited.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>Well, NFL team owners have reportedly reached some sort of “compromise” as to how players and staffers are to behave when the national anthem is being played.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
<p>“This season, all league and team personnel shall stand and show respect for the flag and the anthem,” Goodell said in a statement. “Personnel who choose not to stand for the anthem may stay in the locker room until after the anthem has been performed.”</p>
<p>Previously, players were required to remain in the field during the nation anthem. Now, if players decide not to stand while on the field or on the sidelines during this time, then they will be fined!</p>
<p>I think we can expect some players to have some things to say ????????</p>
