During a stand-up comedy special, the comedian joked that NBC wanted him to lose his black card and allegedly implied that they wanted him to be less…seasoned.
ViaTMZ:
“Sources familiar with the situation tell us NBC execs got wind of it when Nick was promoting the special on “The Howard Stern Show” … and thought he was disparaging the network — a violation of his contract. We’re told his deal has a clause that bars him from talking about the network without approval.”
Thankfully, the execs decided that Cannon was just making a general comment and will not be firing him. Also, he’ll go back to shooting America’s Got Talent next month!
