We told you guys earlier that Marlon Wayans is in the running to replace Nick Cannon on America’s Got Talent. Nick has made it clear that he is refusing to return to the show but he still has his opinion on the show’s future host.
TMZ asked what he thought about the show’s future candidates: Marlon Wayans, Brandon Mychal Smith and Tone Bell, and he had this to say:
“Why they going with a black guy?” He mentions NBC’s previous complaints of how outspoken he was on black issues.
He furthers suggests that Mario Lopez would be a good choice.
