Nick Cannon may have just unveiled his new Amp radio showThe Daily Cannonearlier this week, but he’s already sendin’ out SHOTS!
More specifically, Nick took a moment to slamRed Table Talkas being “toxic” on the heels of Meta canceling the Facebook Watch series.
On Thursday, Nick chatted about the matter with co-hosts Abby De La Rosa, Mason Moussette, and Courtney Bee.
In response to word of the show ending, Nick Cannon said, “Good.”
After his co-hosts pushed back against his statement, Nick blamed Red Table Talkfor the Oscars drama between Will Smith and Chris Rockaka “Slapgate.”
“If there was noRed Table Talk, then [Will Smith] wouldn’t have slapped the s**t out of Chris Rock.”
As the comedian continued to bash the Emmy Award-winning series, he dubbed it the “toxic table.”
After Abby responded that the series is an “honest table” instead, Nick declared that “too much honesty” can have serious consequences.
“Too much honesty could get your a** slapped in the face. We’ve seen this.”
Cannon didn’t stop there, as he also mentioned Will being memed after he and Jada had their infamous “entanglement” sit-down back in 2020.
“They made all them memes about my brother Will on that d*mn table. They didn’t need to do that.”
After Courtney pointed out that Will agreed to discuss the matter on air, Nick exclaimed, “It’s at his house!”
“It’s at his house! [He’s] gotta walk by this motherf**king table every day.”
Later, Cannon declared that Will and Jada were “royalty” before theirRTTsit-down. It sounds like Nick is mourning “That Jada and that Will love” that J. Cole rapped about!
He also declared, “I don’t wanna know all this s**t about y’all!”
“That was royalty, Will and Jada. And they brought it to the table. Like, I don’t wanna know all this s**t about y’all!”
In spite of Nick’s stance, though, RTTconfirmed that it’s “in talks of finding a new home.”
