Last month Nick Gordon was found legally responsible for the death of Bobbi Kristina after failing to appear in court.
According to Page Six, a jury will eventually determine how much Gordon is required to pay the estate of Bobbi Kristina. Although the amount is still undetermined, the payment can be as much as $50 million.
A source close to Gordon reveals that he does not have that kind of money, and he also feels like everyone is against him. “It bothers him that there’s this perception that he is responsible for her death, because he’s not,” said the source.
The source also revealed that he knew that he was due in court. However, he could not bring himself to go and just skipped out on it. The source said, “He is low energy, just really unhappy. He’s just in a dark place.”
In the lawsuit the estate of Bobbi Kristina claims that she had been in an altercation with Gordon, which resulted to her being, “battered and bruised, with a tooth knocked out … after which he placed her in the bathtub unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture.”
Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in the bathtub back in January of 2015, and passed away six months later at the age of 22.
