I dont think Im exaggerating when I say Rihanna can have anyone and I mean ANYONE she chooses. Well, apparently one time, that almost included NBA baller Nick Young, also known as Swaggy P.
It happened back in 2014, when Young was ballin for the Lakers and Rih Rih was sitting courtside at the Staples Center.
“I had a good game, so (the reporters) asked me why … and I said, you know, Rihanna was there, Nick Young said while telling his story on the Certified Buckets podcast, according to TMZ.
Well, apparently Rihanna was feeling the shout out because according to Young, she hit him up afterward but he said he didnt follow through the way he wanted to because he was dating Iggy Azalea at the time. “She hit me back, but I couldn’t go full throttle with it because I was like, in the beginning stages of my relationship with (Iggy).”
The hosts of the podcasts nearly lost their minds over Nick’s story — with Insecures Sarunas J Jackson yelling, “WRONG ONE MAN!”
“You coulda been King of Barbados! You could have been first man of Barbados right now! Jackson said.
But it sounds like Young wasnt too fazed about missing out with Rihanna.
“I think I did pretty good, though. It worked out for a little bit, Young said of he and Iggys relationship.
Young and Iggy dated for years and even got engaged but things went left after Young admitted to cheating on Iggy on video that was recorded by his then-teammate DAngelo Russell.
Young went on to get back with his longtime girlfriend Keonna Green, but they recently split again. Iggy moved on as well, with Playboi Carti and as for Rihanna, well her Saudi boyfriend is in the three commas club.
