Nickelodeon’s New Chief Says He Wants To Bring Back ‘All That’

#Roommates, are you ready for another one of our childhood classics to make a comeback?

For those of you who loved #AllThat, the new head honcho at #Nickelodeon says he wants to bring the show back to the network.

#BrianRobbins said he actually would have never canceled the show in the first place, according to an interview he did with the @hollywoodreporter. Robbins, who has worked with Nickelodeon for years, said All That was actually the first show he ever produced, then Kenan & Kel and The Amanda Show came after.

Robbins said he was at Saturday Night Live recently with Kenan Thompson, who grew up on All That and Kenan & Kel, and reminisced on good times.

It was my first time seeing him on the show and I really wanted to cry, Robbins said. I was so proud. I’ve known the kid since he’s 14 years old. All That ran for 10 years. I would’ve never, ever, ever canceled the show. It should’ve been (Nickelodeon’s) Saturday Night Live. All That was a very sophisticated show. Young humor, but the level of comedy on that show was sophisticated.

So, when asked about a comeback, Robbins told The Hollywood Reporter to not be surprised.

Robbins took the job at Nickelodeon while also putting more than 20 movies into development, including a remake Indecent Proposal and a new live-action Rugrats movie. He also has two features currently in production including a live-action Dora the Explorer and one — the Tiffany Haddish-starring Nobodys Fool — that hit theaters this weekend.

Tell us #Roommates, would you be here for a new All That? Let us know!
