<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s a new day in the entertainment world as two foes seem to be ready to bury the hatchet. I’m talking about Nicki Minaj and Wendy Williams.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The two ladies shocked fans when they recently showed love to one another in their own way and though I wouldn’t necessarily call them besties or even friends just yet, it seems the two are finally in a space where they can acknowledge each other respectfully.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So, how did this beef seemingly get squashed? Well, Wendy Williams was speaking with a guest on her show during Monday’s episode when she mentioned Nicki Minaj.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It wasn’t Wendy’s usual banter or snide comments, though. The talk show host surprised the Barbz and fans of the show when she gave props to Nicki.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“But Nicki, to me, is definitely an icon and definitely a legend,” Wendy told her guest. “She’s done things that these young girls haven’t even touched, even though they have hit music, but Nicki is different than the rest.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">People were admittedly surprised to see Wendy give Nicki her flowers given their tumultuous past, so you can only imagine how shocked fans really were when Nicki returned the love to Wendy.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Under a Nicki fan page, Nicki Minaj left a comment for Wendy and tagged her.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“You are an icon &; legend as well @wendyshow,” Nicki Minaj wrote.</span></p>

It’s understood that shade and gossip is Wendy’s business but there were times Nicki felt the talk show host went too far, specifically when Wendy mentioned Nicki’s husband,<a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/wendy-williams-says-nicki-minaj-should-of-never-married-kenneth-petty/"> Kenneth Petty.</a></span></p>
