Cleanthony Early of the NY Knicks was a target in a planned out robbery early Wednesday morning.
The 24-year-old NY native had just left CityScapes gentlemen’s club with his girlfriend and was in an Uber heading home. The turn of events occurred when three cars boxed in the Uber and four to six man hopped out with masks on and semi automatic guns.
Early complied to the robbers demands and handed over his cash and possessions, which included two gold necklaces, gold caps in his teeth, and his iPhone 6. Even after providing the criminals with his items, he was shot in his right knee, which he just recovered from surgery.
He was taken to Elmhurst hospital and is in stable condition.
